Not a fertilizer. Not just biochar. A Soil Battery.
REGENiCHARGE™ is a fully charged carbon matrix infused with our REGENiGROW™ biology. Install it once at planting and the battery holds water, nutrients, microbes, and enzymes in the root zone — releasing them on your plants' schedule, not on a fertilizer label's.
What it is
A Soil Battery is exactly what it sounds like: a pre-conditioned substrate that stores everything plants need underground and releases it as the plants ask for it. The carbon matrix is the physical structure — porous, durable, good for years. The infused REGENiGROW™ biology is the charge — microbes, enzymes, humic-like substances, and trace nutrients that wake up the soil community and keep it working all season. Together, they're something different from commodity biochar and different from a biostimulant. They're a system. You install the battery; the battery does the work.
What it does in your garden
- Holds water in the root zone through dry stretches, reducing how often you have to water.
- Holds nutrients that would otherwise leach past the roots and end up downstream in a creek or a lake.
- Hosts soil biology on its surfaces — microbes have a place to live, enzymes stay stabilized, and the soil community gets denser around your plants.
- Persists for years. Carbon matrices don't biodegrade on a season timescale. The battery you install this spring is still working three springs from now.
Where to use it
Raised beds. New planting holes. Cut-flower beds. Vegetable gardens. Container plantings. Sod-farm soils at installation. Anywhere you're building soil from scratch or restoring tired soil. One 2-gallon bag treats approximately 24–40 square feet when worked into the top 6 inches of soil — a standard 4×8 ft raised bed at the recommended dose, or two smaller beds at the lower end.
How to apply
At bed prep or planting, work the contents of the bag into the top 6 inches of soil across your bed. Water in thoroughly. Plant on top. That's it. No follow-up application required — though many growers add a seasonal recharge with our liquid REGENiGROW™ later in the season, particularly during heavy growth or drought stress.
Already planted? See the FAQ below — REGENiCHARGE™ works as a top dressing too.
What our customers see
Side-by-side raised-bed trials in USDA zone 6b Pennsylvania showed dahlias planted in REGENiCHARGE™-amended soil reaching multi-branch canopies and full foliage development by week six, while control-bed plants of the same variety, planted the same week, were still in single-stem establishment. Comparable results have been documented in high-desert Utah turf trials, arid-climate vegetable gardens, and mid-Atlantic raised beds. Soil biology, once it's properly fed and housed, does its work regardless of climate.

Common questions
Is this just biochar? The carbon matrix is biochar-based, yes — but the product is not commodity biochar. The charge — the infused biology, enzymes, and humic-like fraction we add inside our bioreactor — is what makes it a Soil Battery rather than a bag of pyrolyzed wood. You can buy plain biochar in many places. You can buy a fully charged Soil Battery here.
Can I add REGENiCHARGE™ after I've already planted? Yes. The easiest application is to work it into the soil at bed prep, but you can also apply REGENiCHARGE™ as a top dressing around established plants. Spread evenly across the soil surface and water in thoroughly. The carbon matrix works its way down through the root zone over the next few waterings, and the infused biology releases slowly from there — feeding your plants over weeks rather than the days you'd get from a conventional fertilizer. The Soil Battery doesn't care whether you install it before or after the plants are in the ground; it just cares that it gets there.
Will it kill the dandelions? No. We don't make herbicides. What we've seen is that properly conditioned soil grows turf and garden plants so densely that broadleaf weeds lose the seams they need to germinate. The few that show up are mostly the ones the pollinators want anyway.
How often do I need to reapply? The carbon matrix persists for years. The biological charge depletes over a season or two depending on plant demand. Most customers either top off with REGENiGROW™ during the growing season, or apply a fresh REGENiCHARGE™ amendment every two to three years for high-demand beds.
Is it safe around pets and kids? Yes. No synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers. Standard handling care: wash hands after use.
Can I use it on lawns? Yes, but on lawns the application math usually favors our liquid REGENiGROW™ instead — it's much easier to spread evenly across a large turf area. Reach out for a larger turf project and we'll advise on the right product mix.

REGENiCHARGE™ Product Overview
REGENiCHARGE™ is much more than amended biochar. You can think of it as time-release biostimulants designed to establish a strong connection between the soil and plants. In the soil, REGENiCHARGE™ feeds the soil microbiome at the same time it provides biostimulants to boost the growth of healthy roots.
