The Soil Battery, in two pieces

Soil amendment in most gardens is a recurring chore — apply, wait, watch it wash away, apply again. The Soil Battery is a different model. REGENiCHARGE™ is a pre-conditioned carbon matrix infused with REGENiGROW® that you install in the root zone once. It stays there, holds water, holds nutrients, and houses the microbes that do the real work. REGENiGROW® is the charge that keeps coming — a liquid concentrate that feeds the soil biology fresh amino acids, B-vitamins, humic substances and trace minerals when your plants are working hardest. Install. Recharge. The system does the rest.

What's in the box

• REGENiCHARGE™ (1 gal): one fully charged Soil Battery. Treats approximately 12–20 square feet worked into the top 6 inches — a 4×4 raised bed, a small cut-flower patch, a row of containers, or the planting hole for a single tree or rose. Installs at planting and persists for years.
• REGENiGROW® (1 qt): 32 fl oz of liquid concentrate. At the label rate of half a cup per gallon of water, that mixes to roughly eight gallons of solution — enough to recharge the bed you just installed and keep a few favourite plants going besides.

How to use the system

At bed prep or planting: work the full 1-gallon REGENiCHARGE™ bag into the top 6 inches of your bed. Water in thoroughly. Plant on top.

During the growing season: mix half a cup of REGENiGROW® per gallon of water and apply as a soil drench at the base of the plants, or as a foliar spray on the leaves. Both is better than either. Most growers apply every 2–4 weeks through the active season, and follow the dose — in our trials, doubling it brought yields back down. Think of it as a meal for the soil, not a fertilizer to load up.

Side-by-side raised-bed trials in USDA zone 6b Pennsylvania showed dahlias planted in REGENiCHARGE™-amended soil reaching multi-branch canopies and full foliage development by week six, while control-bed plants of the same variety, planted the same week, were still in single-stem establishment. Comparable results have been documented in high-desert Utah turf trials and arid-climate vegetable gardens — which is what tells us this is a soil-biology story rather than a climate-specific one.

Common questions

Why this bundle rather than the two products separately? Two reasons. It is set up as the complete starter system, so there is nothing to work out about which product goes with which or in what ratio. And it ships in one box at one shipping cost. For a single small bed plus a season of recharge, this is the simplest way in.

Is a quart really enough? For the bed this bag treats, yes — and for getting to know the liquid on a few favourite plants besides. Growers who like what they see usually step up to the 1-gallon REGENiGROW® for the following season, by which point the battery is already in the ground.

Can I add REGENiCHARGE™ after I've already planted? Yes. Working it into the soil at bed prep is easiest, but you can also spread it evenly as a top dressing around established plants and water in thoroughly. The carbon matrix works its way down through the root zone over the next few waterings, and the infused biostimulant releases slowly from there — feeding your plants over weeks rather than the days you would get from a conventional fertilizer. The Soil Battery doesn't care whether you install it before or after the plants are in the ground; it just cares that it gets there.

I have a bigger bed than this. A standard 4×8 raised bed wants the 2-gallon REGENiCHARGE™, and the complete system at that size is the REGENiCHARGE™ + REGENiGROW® bundle — a 2-gallon battery plus a full gallon of recharge.

Is the carbon matrix biochar? Biochar-based, yes. But the product isn't commodity biochar. The charge — the infused biostimulant, enzymes and humic-like fraction added inside our bioreactor — is what makes it a Soil Battery rather than a bag of pyrolyzed wood.

How long does it last? The carbon matrix is stable for years. The biological charge depletes across a season or two depending on plant demand, which is what the REGENiGROW® in this box is for.

Is it safe around pets, kids and edible crops? Yes. No synthetic pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers, and REGENiGROW® is OMRI Listed for use on certified-organic edible crops. Standard handling care: wash hands after use.
